Share a Little Valentine’s Love

We are so grateful for the volunteer support in helping to prepare, contribute to, and deliver meals! We couldn’t do it without our volunteers!

We have an opportunity for you to join us sharing a little extra love and light this Valentine’s! You and your family can make paper Valentine’s from your home and we will share them with some families and individuals that need a little extra love this year!

Simply make as many (or as few) Valentine’s as you would like, and mail them to us! Send us an email to sign up! [email protected]

Announcing! Christmas Opportunity!

We are excited to share a little extra love this Christmas season! And we need your help!!

Do you have a friend or family member going through a hard time this holiday season? 

We’ll send them a care package to help them know they’re seen and loved.

Each Christmas Cheer package will contain small gifts and treats, as well as a personalized card. We are exited to share these small gifts of love to those who need it most this holiday season.

Thanksgiving Cards for Workers

November 2022

Gather your family and friends and create Thanksgiving cards to be given out to those who have to work on Thanksgiving Day. Cards will be given to those who don’t often get this holiday off: workers at gas stations, grocery stores, fast food restaurants, police and firefighters, and nursing home caregivers. The cards will also be given with a small gift provided by First Light Charities. Submit the cards through email or regular mail. Cookies for SoupMobile

We are so excited to share cookies with SoupMobile! Every day SoupMobile in Dallas, Texas shares lunch with hundreds of neighbors experiencing homelessness. And they love being able to add homemade cookies to the lunches.

You can join us by making cookies! Any flavor and any amount! We will pick them up from you on August 23, 2022!

Coloring Book

August 2022

We are creating a First Light Charities coloring book! We would love for you to join us in creating this special book, which will be donated to Vogel Alcove in Dallas, Texas. All you do is create a simple coloring page, and email us a copy!

For the children who receive services from Vogel Alcove, their world is often noisy and uncertain. Did you know that approximately 4,500 children–just in Dallas–go to sleep without a home each night. At Vogel Alcove, they are working to combat the long term, negative affects that kind of situation has on the children. They offer early childhood programming, school-age services, health services, mental health aid, and family support for many families currently in need in Dallas.
