First Light Charities is committed to safely using information received from donors and other interested persons. First Light Charities will not sell or exchange personal information about its donors or contacts. If you provide personal contact information when you visit our website, we will save the information in our spreadsheet, so we can contact you in the future in regards to volunteering or donating. First Light Charities will not save the information of persons who receive Sunshine Boxes on behalf of a donor, or any other persons who receive donations. Only names and personal information of donors will be saved for future contact purposes. If you would not like to be contacted, please let us know via the Contact Us page. You may unsubscribe at any time from communications. 

In using the First Light Charities website, you (as the user) acknowledge you are using the website at your own risk. First Light Charities takes no responsibility for errors on the website, but will update the website in a timely manner, to the best of our ability. First Light Charities makes no guarantees, explicitly or implied, regarding the website, including the completeness, or reliability of text, graphics, links, products and services, and other items accessed from the website, or that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. No information given by First Light Charities or any other party on the website shall create any warranty or liability. As the user, we ask that if you encounter any problem with the website or other media presence, that you please contact us so an appropriate resolution can be made.

First Light Charities uses personal information from email primarily to respond to your requests. We may also use your email to contact you in the future about other opportunities to serve. First Light Charities will not sell, trade or share a donor’s personal information with any other entity. In addition, you may opt-out of receiving communications from First Light Charities, by unsubscribing via an email or contacting us. First Light Charities supports the Donor Bill of Rights, developed by the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
